Anusha Hegde is the founder of “Trikaya” – An Indian Fusion Belly Dance Style, and the Co-Director and Partner at Tarantismo Creative Dance Company, the belly dance pioneer of Bangalore! The embodiment of grace, with an insatiable passion for dance,  Anusha’s journey as a professional dancer began at a tender age of six, and since then, she has continuously honed her skills across a plethora of dance styles, from the traditional elegance of Bharathnatyam and Kathak to the vibrant rhythms of Afro and Hip Hop, and has been belly dancing for nearly two decades. 



Anusha is the first Datura Style Teacher in India! Certified under Rachel Brice, Portland - USA. And the first Dancecraft Teacher in India to have completed - Diamonds, Spades & Clubs under Zoe Jakes in Oakland - USA.

Anusha's impact transcends borders, as evidenced by her international acclaim and engagement. Through workshops and performances conducted across various countries. She has over 10 million views on her videos on YouTube and has been a Quarter Finalist in India's Got Talent. A skilled sketch artist and designer, a singer and musician, Anusha's multidimensional creativity is a testament to her status as a true artist in every sense of the word.


Despite her considerable expertise, Anusha embraces the philosophy of lifelong learning. She recognises the value of studying under world-renowned teachers and continually seeks to expand her own knowledge and skills. She inspires her students and trains belly dance instructors to approach dance with curiosity, humility, and a thirst for knowledge.
